Sistotrema brinkmanii
Sistotrema brinkmanii is widespread.
It is a basidiomycete commonly found on wood. In buildings it is common on wet decaying window/door joinery. Most basidiomycetes are not normally encountered as moulds, but a few, such as Sistotrema brinkmanii may be encountered in the laboratory.
