Our Process
Step 1: Visit Client Site & Inspection
A mold inspector would visit your home or business premise. Depending on the size of the building the mold inspection can normally range from 2-3 hours in duration. During the inspection we focus on visible mold growth and moisture damage.
Step 2: Air and Surface Sampling
We set up air sampling equipment and samples are carefully collected. We also collect samples of suspect visible mold growth
Step 3: Take Samples to the Lab
Once samples have been collected, we take them to our own laboratory which is accredited by the Canadian Association for Laboratory Accreditation (CALA) to analyzed by our experienced microbiologists.
Step 4: Sample Analyzes
By using our state of the art equipment and experience we are able to identify the type of mold present and the concentration.
Step 5: Generate Report
We then create a report that defines the types of mold present and the concentrations.
Step 6: Recommendations Proposed
Most recommendations include: how to reduce, remove, and prevent mold growth. Often times the top reason for mold is water damage which must be addressed immediately.
