Why Test for Mold?

Mold and bacteria are recognized health hazards, having been associated with health problems such as allergies, aspergilloses, and mycotoxin poisoning.
While not all molds and bacteria are harmful, growth of any microorganisms in occupied buildings should not be allowed.

A laboratory test helps the building occupants or the air quality consultants to know what molds or bacteria they are dealing with and their hazard classes, which lets them determine how to handle them safely.
