Our microbiological testing laboratory is staffed with a highly experienced team of microbiologists who are experts in their respective fields of microbiology. Our competent professionals have decades of experience in routine microbiological analysis, special microbiology, research microbiology, and a variety of other microbiological testing.
At MBL, we ensure that our team meets the highest possible standard of expertise for the services that we provide. Our team have not only the experience and the qualification but they are also passionate about what they do. All analysts have either masters or doctorate degrees.

Dr. Jackson Kung’u, B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D. Dr. Kung’u is the Director and Principal Microbiologist at MBL. Jackson graduated from the University of Kent at Canterbury, UK with a Masters degree in Fungal Technology and a Ph.D in Microbiology. He has published several research papers in international scientific journals. He is a member of the Mycological Society of America (MSA) and the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA). Over the last four years, Jackson has been directing an indoor mould training course which has been recognized by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH), the Canadian Registration Board of Occupational Hygienists (CRBOH), the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC), the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI) and the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO).
